Xyjiao® Lep-701A

This milky-white, nonionic aqueous dispersion is based on bisphenol A epoxy resin and offers a high epoxy equivalent weight, low odor and good mechanical stability. After curing, it forms a dense coating combining mechanical strength, adhesion to metal, flexibility, and resistance to water, acids and alkalis.

Applications include anticorrosive coatings, industrial baking finishes, decorative metal coatings, and interior and exterior can coatings.

Directions for Use

Mix with a compatible curing agent and bake at high temperature. Its relatively high molecular weight and greater hydroxyl content also allow use with waterborne amino resin curing agents to make one-component waterborne thermosetting coatings.

Packaging and Storage

Available in 50 kg/200 kg drums. Store in a cool, ventilated place away from ignition sources and heat, at 10–35°C. Avoid prolonged storage below 0°C and reseal after opening if any product remains. Shelf life is 1 year.
