Xytu® PV15

PV15 provides in-can preservation for emulsion paints, polymer emulsions used in coatings and pigment pastes, controlling bacteria, yeasts and molds. It is compatible with organic and inorganic components in a range of polymer systems.

Directions for Use

Add directly during grinding or let-down, then stir thoroughly to distribute it uniformly through the emulsion or water-based paint. Use in alkaline systems below pH 9, at a system temperature no higher than 40°C; temperatures up to 60°C are acceptable for short periods.

Packaging and Storage

Packed in 20 kg drums. Store indoors at ambient temperature in a well-ventilated place; do not use unlined metal containers. Stability is at least one year at normal storage temperatures.
