Xytu® GXL

GXL helps prevent spoilage of water-based products caused by bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It offers good compatibility and alkali resistance for in-can preservation during formulation storage. Applications include water-based coatings, polymer emulsions and pigment dispersions.

Directions for Use

Suitable application conditions are system pH 4.0–12 and a temperature no higher than 120°C. Add at any production stage, preferably as early as possible. The recommended use concentration is 0.05%–0.3%. Conduct compatibility trials before first use and check the effects of addition temperature, pH and redox potential on product stability.

Packaging and Storage

Packed in 25 kg or 1000 kg drums. Store in a cool, ventilated place protected from light. Shelf life is 12 months.
