Damping Emulsion
E122 is a core-shell styrene-acrylic emulsion for water-based damping coatings on vehicles and industrial equipment.
Description
E122 is a white, anionic emulsion made by core-shell polymerization, using styrene as the main hard monomer and butyl acrylate as the main soft monomer. It is suited to coatings requiring damping performance together with adhesion and water resistance.
It can be used in water-based damping coatings for rail vehicles, automobiles, ships, household appliances and construction machinery, as well as automotive anti-stone-chip coatings.
Directions for Use
Use alone or blend with other emulsions. When used alone, the recommended emulsion-to-powder mass ratio is 1:(1.2–1.8).
Packaging and Storage
Available in 125 kg/drum; shelf life is 6 months.
