Water Repellent for Silicone Resin Coatings
BT450 is an aqueous emulsion of modified polysiloxane resin used as a co-binder to improve water repellency in silicone resin coatings.
Description
Use BT450 as a co-binder in silicone resin paints, silicone resin-modified paints and renders. The resulting coatings combine strong water repellency with high water vapor permeability. BT450 is alkali-resistant and can be used in coatings containing sodium silicate.
Directions for Use
Add BT450 to water-based coating systems during manufacture. The recommended dosages below are based on the total formulation.

Packaging and Storage
Available in 60 kg and 120 kg plastic drums. Custom packaging is available. Store indoors in a cool, dry and ventilated place, protected from sunlight and rain. Do not store below 0 °C or above 40 °C. If frost or heat damage is suspected, check suitability before processing. Stir until uniform before use.
Shelf life is one year when properly stored and unopened. After expiry, use only if testing confirms that the product meets the technical specifications.
