Xytu® BT404

BT404 is a solvent-free emulsion based on alkyl polysiloxane oligomers. It penetrates absorbent substrates such as brick, sand-lime brick and natural sandstone and quickly develops water repellency. The dilution is stable in storage and can also be used for factory impregnation of materials such as lightweight ceramic aggregate, aerated concrete, fiber cement products, mineral fiber products and lightweight aggregates.

Directions for Use

Dilute with water before use. A 5–15-fold dilution can be used directly after stirring until uniform. Do not use on low-absorbency substrates such as dense natural stone (including tuff and marble) or high-strength reinforced concrete for roads and bridges.

Packaging and Shelf Life

Available in 200 kg packs. Shelf life is one year when properly stored and unopened. After expiry, use only if testing confirms that the product still meets the technical specifications.
