Xytu® TT-40

This pale-yellow to milky-white viscous liquid is a polymer-based additive with high thickening efficiency. It works over a broad pH range, provides rapid thickening without pH adjustment and is compatible with various waterborne additives, allowing use with existing coating thickening systems.

Directions for Use

Add during the high-speed mixing stage when evaluating replacement of hydroxyethyl cellulose. The source recommends 0.1-0.7%, with the actual level established by formulation trials. The percentage calculation basis is not stated and must be confirmed before use.

Packaging and Storage

Available in 130 kg plastic drums. Shelf life is 12 months at ambient temperature.

Test Conditions and Selection
