Xytu® DF-30

DF-30 is a clear, colorless-to-pale-yellow liquid for eliminating or suppressing foam in oil-based coatings. It is insoluble in water and soluble in mineral oils, vegetable oils and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, allowing dispersion in the corresponding oil-based systems.

Directions for Use

It may be added directly to the mixing vessel during manufacture or dosed dropwise at the point of foam formation. The recommended addition level is 0.1%–1.0%. Determine the actual dosage through trials in the specific system, starting with a small-scale test.

Packaging and Storage

Packaging sizes are 20 kg / 180 kg; custom packaging is available on request. Store at 4–40°C; shelf life is typically 12 months at 25°C.
