Xytu® BT136

BT136 reduces water absorption in water-based coatings without affecting water-vapor permeability, making it suitable for exterior coating formulations requiring both water repellency and vapor permeability. It can be used in silicate, dispersion-silicate and silicone-resin exterior coatings, as well as water-based primers.

Directions for Use

Add during or after production at 1%–5% by weight in the coating or primer. Stir thoroughly before use.

Packaging and Storage

Packed in 60 kg or 120 kg plastic drums; custom packaging is available on request. The product is sensitive to frost and heat and should be protected from freezing and overheating. Store indoors in a cool, dry, ventilated place, protected from sunlight and rain, at temperatures not below 0°C or above 40°C. Shelf life is one year when unopened and stored under these conditions.
