Xyjiao® LT-106
Waterborne Peelable Protective Coating for Temporary Surface Protection
LT-106 is a waterborne peelable protective coating for temporary protection of glass, metal, painted surfaces and plastic parts.
Description
LT-106 is a water-based peelable coating for temporary protection of glass, metal, painted surfaces and plastic parts. It forms a glossy, soft, transparent film with good toughness and yellowing resistance.
The Chinese TDS describes a dry, smooth, non-tacky film, good water resistance and relatively low peel force. Residue-free removal should be checked on the actual substrate under the intended protection and peeling conditions.
Plan a Peelability Trial
Provide the following information when requesting application support. These are trial conditions to confirm, not performance values specified in the source TDS.
- Substrate material, surface finish, existing paint or coating, and surface preparation.
- Application method and intended wet and dry film thickness.
- Drying temperature, humidity and time before handling.
- Protection duration and exposure conditions.
- Peeling temperature, angle and speed, with acceptance criteria for removal, residue and any change to the protected finish.
The supplied TDS does not specify film thickness, drying schedule, protection duration or a peel-test method. It gives viscosity at 25°C without an instrument, spindle or speed. Confirm these details with technical support before setting trial limits.
See materials for temporary surface and component protection. This product page covers LT-106 only; it does not establish equivalence or a replacement relationship with LT101.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging size is 50 kg. Store at 5–30°C; shelf life is 6 months.
Technical Documents and SDS
Download the LT-106 English TDS. The translation was prepared on 25 October 2026; the Chinese original gives no issue or revision date. The translation date is not the original revision date.
For the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and trial guidance, request LT-106 documents and peelability trial support. Specify the required document language and destination country.
Recording a Temporary Protection Trial
Use the same substrate and preparation for each trial. Record wet and dry film thickness, drying conditions, exposure duration and peeling temperature, angle and speed. Photograph the surface before protection and after removal, and record film continuity, removal behavior and any residue. Retain the full conditions with each observation; no universal peelability result is implied.
Review the waterborne peelable protection guide together with this LT-106-specific TDS. Any LT101 reference in separate historical material must be evaluated independently; it does not establish model equivalence.
